History Buff Special
February 1 - December 31
History lovers will enjoy a weekend delving in the rich past of our area. Begin with an introduction to our 1815 Federal style home in the quaint historic hamlet of Ludlowville where you'll stay for two nights in one of the Miller Rooms dating from the 1840's. Learn about the Brigham Young and William Seward connection here, then off to nearby Auburn for your personal tour of the Seward House with tickets provided. Stop along the way for a visit to the Harriet Tubman home. After a sensational breakfast, stroll up the hill to the old cemetery where Revolutionary war soldier, Thomas Ludlow is buried along with soldiers and residents from the Civil War era to present day. In downtown Ithaca you can stop in at The History Center in Tompkins County and catch a local exhibit or examine history at the research library, followed by shopping and dining on Ithaca Commons. There's so much to do and see, you may have to stay an extra day.

Have a wonderful waterfall weekend!

You may be familiar with Buttermilk, Ithaca, or Taughannack Falls. But we have some surprises for our guests who partake in the wonderful waterfall weekend. Waterfall lovers will enjoy a weekend of wonder starting at our own nearly on-the-premises waterfall, Ludlowville Falls. Guests will be able to take a self guided tour of two secret waterfalls in nearby gorges as well as being introduced to several lesser known falls within a very short drive. A picnic for two including such delectable treats as homemade spreads, cheeses, crackers, olives, optional wine, and of course, water can be yours for your outing. Package includes a 2010 calendar of Waterfalls of the Finger Lakes by local photographer Dewey Neild to keep those wonderful waterfall memories alive all year long.

Mardi Gras Memories
